CUS at of Union Institute & University (UI&U) has been serving learners in the tri-state area and beyond since the early 1970s. Our individualized curriculum and distance delivery options afford you a uniquely flexible means to complete an undergraduate degree. We will work with you to develop a course-based program of study that maximizes your time and learning style.  

Individualized Degree Planning and Personalized Instruction:
Study subjects that genuinely interest you and help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Faculty advisors work with you, one-to-one, providing direct support throughout your studies. Our learners work with a member of the faculty who plays a variety of roles depending upon the situation:  instructor, mentor, advocate, resource person in addition to the role of faculty advisor.

Flexibility and Convenience:
At UI&U your college campus is wherever you are. Learners communicate with instructors by phone, email or face-to-face – when and where it’s mutually convenient. The Program features a personalized approach to distance learning.

Accelerate Your Path to a Degree with Credit based on Experiential Learning:
Take full advantage of your previous coursework and current knowledge based on assessment of your college-level learning derived from training, work, and life experience. Learners can receive up to 60 credits for documented college-level experiential learning.  Courses are year-round – your program will never be interrupted.

Adult Learner-Centered:
Be part of a community of adult students who are there to learn, and are supportive and respectful of your goals and interests. UI&U’s faculty and students come from diverse professional backgrounds providing fascinating studies that broaden your educational experience.

UI&U is regionally accredited, providing flexible, relevant and individualized Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees.  At UI&U, you may even design your program with an interdisciplinary focus that is unique to your interests and plans for the future.
