Anticipation

My heart pounds as I grasp the envelope in my hands. What if I am not accepted? What do I do?

I feel the panic coming on and I cant help but lose my breath. I start to breathe heavy and fast.

The whole world seems to close in around me as I open the envelope from the school of my choice.

I pull the paper out. Congratulations Ms. Brown, we are pround to welcome you as a part of our university family. I smile.

I can breathe now.
