Friends

Friends are some of the most important people in the world. Besides family, who is there? I have a best friens named Chaquita and we've been friends since the seventh grade!

I was a new student and Quita just walked up to me and started talking to me! I was shocked but happy. We played all of our sports together and hung out all of the time.

She was there for me and I was there for her, she was like my twin that I always wished I had. We went over to the high school together and played sports together there too.

But I moved after ninth grade. I had to make a new best friend. Quita and I always kept in touch, but I made a new best friend named Yolanda, who's a year younger than me.

Well, I went to visit Quita and she was going through a rough time, so I tried to comfort her as much as I could until I thought that she should come visit me and meet my new friends to take her mind off of things for a while.

So she came and loved it! We went to the beach, to a movie, bowling, and had a slumber party. It really took her mind off of things and she got to meet some new people and build some new friendships herself!

My friends became her friends and we helped her get through a tough time together, like friends are supposed to do!
