Higher Education in Arizona Colleges.
Stretching through the immense desert landscape is the Grand Canyon, a prime tourist spot and vital to the state’s tourism industry. Many residents, however, prefer to focus on the abundance of entertainment and relaxation opportunities made available in two of the state’s more popular cities, Phoenix and Tucson.
The Arizona economy continues to run strong and is dominated by what natives call the 5 c’s: copper, cattle, cotton, citrus, and climate. The state government remains as Arizona’s largest employer, with Wal-Mart coming in at a close second. Careers in technology look to be in hot demand--those in software development are bound to see a bright future in the state. |
