Higher Education in Idaho Colleges
Bordered by Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming, residents of Idaho boast some of the largest areas of unspoiled natural landscapes in the country. Snow-capped mountains, flowing rivers, steep canyons, and serene lakes make the state an outdoor-lovers dream. Boise features the possibility for an urban escape, complete with an active jazz and theater scene, as well as economic opportunities. The city is also home to some major corporations including Albertsons and Washington Group International.
Other cities worth mention include Blackfoot, Moscow, and Coeur d’Alene. The state’s economic future looks to be especially bright for teachers, accountants, construction managers, and pharmacists--all of which will be in high demand. Some of Idaho’s largest companies also look to be continuing their growth, including Micron Technology Incorporated, Hewlett-Packard, and St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center.
