Higher Education in New Mexico Colleges
Despite its somewhat remote desert location, New Mexico has developed into one of the most health-conscious states in the country. Already adding to the large number of hospitals and clinics are the high per-capita number of massage and alternative therapists. Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe are the three top cities in the state--Roswell, however, often earns more fame for its role in what many consider to be a massive government conspiracy.
Software engineers, systems analysts, physician assistants, and computer systems administrators are expected to be the most in-demand jobs in the near future. Additionally, those with degrees in criminal justice and nursing will also have a variety of positions in which to apply for. The state has the highest percentage of Hispanic Americans in the country, providing bilingual career opportunities. |
