Higher Education in Ohio Colleges
Ohio has been said to be the cultural and geographical crossroads of America. With a top three city list of Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, it’s no wonder that residents are proud of the diversity of their state. A large part of the entertainment that Ohio is known for comes from the number of professional sports teams the state has--all major sports are represented. Beyond the sports and entertainment of this state, the residents have a variety of career fields to choose from. Cleveland was ranked as one of the top most livable cities in 2005.
Careers in computers, environmental engineering, and database administration are likely to be those in highest demand within the next ten years. The state’s largest employers include Ohio State University, State Corrections Department, McDonalds, and Procter and Gamble Company. |
