With our history, it’s not surprising that employers are anxious to talk to our business graduates. From the very beginning, Rochester Business Institute has been a leader in education innovation. Our doors first opened in 1863 to young men and then, in 1883, to women, with the philosophy that “the paramount duty of every parent is to thoroughly equip their children for earning a livelihood.” When a serious shortage of business subject textbooks occurred in the late 1800s, we wrote and published our own. Soon after the turn of the century, we became the first school in the nation to offer a training program for business teachers.

That same forward-looking attitude exists at our school today. We give our students the best education possible to equip them for successful careers in accounting, business administration, computer programming, administrative support, and information processing. These courses are offered in small classes with hands-on training. The relatively small size of our college allows us to quickly update our curriculum and facility to meet the ever-changing requirements of modern business enterprise. Your associate degree from our college will open many doors of opportunity for you. Within 90 days of graduation, the vast majority of our graduates are placed in jobs for which they have been trained.
