Adolecsent Liars

Liars My parents and many others alike can never accept truth from teenagers....because in their eyes, we're just all tall tales and short stories that never end.

How come people like them cannot let youth have an opinion? Adults don't want to be wrong and teens don't want their thoughts on something so easily unheard--but from the looks of things, that's how it's going on.

My mom's fiance thinks that the world geologically revolves around him and since this is a fact and nothing less to him, he thinks everyone under 18 should have a sign that states, "with stupid" on their forehead. What kind of belief is that? Us as teens shouldn't be so easily neglected, we should have a voice. What right does anyone have to try and silence us because in the end we can still whisper if nothing more.

I can look around my classroom all day long and see my peers answering questions, giving their thoughts about the subject being taught, but outside the classroom we are nothing more than some fallacy that is capable of speaking of anything but reason. The people that we are when we're young are just the previews of us to come, our aspect and views will not change, only the people that hear them do, that is if we are heard at all. And the worst thing of it all, to me, is the fact that I know someone will read this and snicker at the article and wonder why a teen would want their voice heard......if only they would see that we're not so incoherent as they think....
