Fighting Back

It always seems that your not good enough. You don't have straight A's, or you arn't the "best" on the volleyball team. It makes you feel weak. When you're week you're vulnerable. Vulnerable to cave in to peer pressure. I've seen many cases in which people's lack of self esteem has caused them to sink to lows like drug and alcohol addiction. I knw how easy it is because I to was on the wrong path. I planed to take the "easy" way out. I didn't know exactly what I was doing to myself. A tragedy happened, not to me, but it did effect me and it was a drug and alcohol related tragedy. It opened my eyes to what I was doing. I'm, sadly, thankful that that tragity did happen. If it didn't, I don't know what I'd be doing now. Take a look at your own life. Are you falling down the ladder?
