Grandma Kiss
It's coming for you, and you cannot hide: behind locked doors, piled up tables and books, turned off lights, even Halloween masks. Nothing can stop it. It starts with a pinch turning your skin the color of squashed grapes. Then comes the hug that cracks the bones in your arms. And finally, the wet kiss, that contaminates its spot of contact for at least two weeks, with red lipstick too bright for your eyes. Rubbing, water, and soap only work for a little while.
