High School Years

When you were young the worst thing in your life that could ever happen is your malibu barbie's head falling off or someone stepping on your Tonka Truck. You were friends with everyone. Nobody cared about how much money you had, how hott you are, and there wasnt anyone being labeled as the nerd.

 It was all about playing and just being happy. Of course there was the ocassional temper-tanturms and who got to play with the new class toy, but at the end of the day the fights were forgotten and everyone went home happy.

 Then highschool took a smack right in your face. The friends you had magically dissapeared. People that you thought you knew changed completey. Highschool can be the best years of your life but it also can be complete hell.You never knew there could be so much drama in one little town. You find yourself doing things that you would never think you would do before, some good and some bad.

Deep down you know who you want to be but there is always that dark thought planted in the back of you head of you not being accepted, so you try to be what people want you to be. You just sit there and follow everyone else not trying to stand out, and those who are just a little different are labled right away.

Then there is always those group of people who act like they own the school and who are popular and what they say just had to be true. Well honestly they should be sending out thank you letters to all the people they look down to because with out them that group wouldn't even exsist.

 Then theres always that great little thing called jealously and when your jealous you try anyway you can to put that person down and thats when the rumor mill rolls right in.

My god you find your name on the bathroom stall with some crap written about how much of a slut you are and how ugly you are. When that happen to me I didn't get mad i was actually quite flatter that someone was thinking about me and just revolving there little world about what i do.

 In the end just try to avoid the drama and just have fun. Don't ever do something to make someone else happy when it doesnt make you happy. Just stay true to youself and be friends with the people you like, and fall in love as much as possible even though your taking a chance of getting hurt, and if you do just shake it off and move on. Don't revolve you life around your grades, but do keep them up, I know it's fun to blow things off and just to party, but in the end your gonna have to grow up and trust do you want to be working at Mcdonalds the rest of your life? I'll leave you with this you get four years of highschool, so try to make them good, and make as many memories that you can. I wouldn't say make them your best years of your life because then what do you have to look forward to but just the rest of your life going down hill. Make everything the best life ever not the best year.
