Aviation Technology: If you like working with your hands and have a passion for jet engines, helicopters and advanced technology, this program is for you. As an FAA-certified training school, MIAT will train you perform maintenance on high performance aircraft, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical equipment, fabricate aircraft components from material such as Kevlar and carbon fiber, and much more. Because of the wide array of skills and Federal certifications you’ll earn as an Aviation Technician, you’ll find your talents will be in demand across the country in a variety of industries.
Power Technology: If you want to join the global energy revolution and travel the most dynamic career paths of the future, then train for the skills and physical challenges of a power technology career. MIAT will train you to perform testing with precision measuring equipment, maintain and repair power turbines and generators, install advanced power equipment to meet safety and efficiency standards, and expertly operate boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors and generators. As an MIAT Power Technology graduate, you can become a Power Technician, Wind Turbine Technician, Power Plant Operator or more.
Transportation Dispatch: If you enjoy multitasking, solving complex problems, making a difference and want a fast-paced work setting where no two days are the same, train for a transportation dispatch career. MIAT will train you in the variety of specialties needed to excel within the transportation and public service industry—including air traffic control, crisis management, communications, emergency procedures, meteorology, navigation, and troubleshooting just to name a few.
