Accidents happen – which is why your skills and training in Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology will never have a shortage of work. You’ll be able to repair dents and other structural damages using your welding, cutting and painting skills. Just as important, you’ll learn to fix other common accident related issues such as frame, suspension, alignment, brakes and electrical problems. Collision repair is a skill you master with experience – that’s why you’ll be working with cutaway cars and body parts, designed to simulate situations described in your textbook. Many of your classes will take place in a body shop/lab environment where you’ll work with the same tools and techniques you’ll use once you graduate. A High Performance add-on option is available with a focus on either engines or fabrication.
