Starting with the fundamentals, you’ll learn and develop your skills so you’re comfortable working on equipment ranging from a big 18-wheeler to a front-wheel drive vehicle – and capable of steering your career in the direction of greater opportunity. Besides your classroom work, you’ll roll up your sleeves and spend class time in repair bay “laboratories” working on today’s car and diesel engines, disassembling and reassembling them as required. You’ll be gaining hands-on experience with the tools and techniques you’ll use once you graduate. From braking, hydraulics and fuel systems to computer diagnostics and sensors, you’ll have a wide range of skills in both Automotive and Diesel Technology. A High Performance add-on option is available with a focus on either engines or fabrication.
